  • Education :
    Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Information Systems or a closely related field from an accredited institution of higher education in the U.S. or its equivalent. We prefer candidates with Scrum Master Certification.
  • Job Description:

    We are looking for a seasoned Scrum Master who has strong Scrum and Kanban fundamentals (i.e. Old School Scrum, Traditional Scrum), good communications, team building skills and servant leadership skills. This individual will also need to be flexible and taking directions from our coaches and Scrum Master Advisors. Also has established new teams not just lead teams and understand multiple team development / virtual slicing for a complex projects. In addition must know when to shift for some out of the box thinking.

    Core responsibilities shared across each Scrum Master level:

  • Acts as a buffer between the team and process overhead, so each team member can focus on the timely delivery of software

  • Shields the team from interruptions and removes obstacles that may impact the delivery of the product

  • Guides the team's operations by facilitating ceremonies (e.g. daily stand-ups, sprint planning) and instilling Agile principles into daily activities to ensure smooth functioning of the delivery team

  • Facilitates internal and external communications (e.g. task coordination, progress tracking / reporting, dependency management)

  • Ensure team is well-informed on the internal and external initiatives and activities

  • Keeps external stakeholders and other interested parties well-informed on team progress and activities

  • To ensure smooth delivery, tracks and removes and obstacles and barriers that may prevent progress

  • Responsible for the administrative, coaching and leadership roles that make Scrum development / delivery possible. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to
