Job Description:

  • Technical BA- more infrastructure related; will be taking technologies through a version upgrade- have a couple of initiatives coming up
  • Need someone who can help put together all aspects of the project and take it through the full lifecycle; will be hands on with the product
  • Experience with security technology but most importantly-experience taking a product through an upgrade (don't need a UNIX or windows expert-but that knowledge/experience would be an advantage)
  • MUST HAVE contracting background

Project Specific Details:
Candidate will assist with the implementation of projects in our Security Engineering & Access Control group. The project(s) involves upgrading some of our security access applications. These projects will include involvement from our infrastructure teams. Experience as a business analyst on projects implementing similar security solutions will be a major plus.

TOP CRITERIA/RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION: 

  •  At least 5 years of professional experience with significant experience working as a on complicated projects with multiple cross functional teams
  •  Perform research and interviews to determine business requirements and then translate such into specifications for technical projects
  •  Help the project meet schedule and business objectives
  •  Provide leadership assistance in planning, analysis and execution of plans
  •  Focus on the people side of change in the area of systems and technology, processes, job roles and skills, as well as organizational structures
  •  Analyze, facilitate, model, and organize information in order to reconcile conflicts, elicit requirements and distinguish solution ideas from business needs


ADDITIONAL CRITIERA:
• Conduct business process reviews to understand current state business processes and how underlying applications support can enable these processes. 
• Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to identify and define high level and detailed technical/business/functional requirements.
• Demonstrated success in facilitating discussions with all levels and functional areas of the organization.
• Prepare gap and impact analysis documentation.
• Provide guidance to project team regarding technical and functional requirements. 
• Partner with testing resources to identify testing requirements. 
• Ensure and validate that delivered functionality meets the business objectives. 
• Serve as the SME for User Acceptance Testing efforts.
