Technical BA / Architechture

so when you think of this BA- the person they would like to have will ideally have both APPLICATION INTEGRATION AND EDW work in their background ( but need more integration experience.) they would LOVE Some junior architect who can assist facilitate conversations, draw context diagrams and understand the context.

Context Diagramming. Here is the ranking of the diagramming technology in use within the company in the Integration Factory:

1 - Data Flow Diagrams

2 - Use Case Diagrams

3 - Control Flow Diagrams (Flowcharts)

4 - Entity Relationship Diagrams

5 - State Transitions Diagram

• Gather requirements from stakeholders including business subject matter users and IT teams
• Document data migration requirements, including source system analysis and source to target
• Analyzes & acquires data from primary and secondary data sources – creating mapping specifications for use by development resources
• Documents plans for collection, data cleansing, and normalization of data

Heavy experience in the following:

• Delegate JAD sessions to….”go get these architects together and once they agree on a solution, document or diagram it”
• Understand the technical components to be able to document them correctly.
• Understand the different architecture diagrams and tools.
