Job Summary:
Hub International (hubinternational.com)
Primary driver of user story construction (along with other Business SMEs and BAs). Shepherds user stories throughout the release.  Proxy for business SMEs with Tech Team.  Helps breakdown roadmap priorities into consumable stories/work items.
·     Owns facilitation, authoring, and shepherding of User Stories throughout release schedule.
o    Capture and prioritize business requests and author user stories in Confluence.
o    Consult on breakdown of user stories to achieve iterative progress.
o    Defines acceptance criteria by which User stories will be tested.
o    Attend functional walkthroughs for early review of Development deliverables
o    Respond to questions from Dev and QA about User Stories; escalate clarifications to business as appropriate
o    Demo all new functionality to business, prior to start of UAT.
o    With Scrum Master, monitors progress of in-flight work against business expectations
·         Triage defects throughout sprint 
o    Receives ALL defects identified during QA and UAT phases for triage
o    Validates, assesses priority, and assists with root cause analysis.
o    Works with business and technical teams to resolve, or move to backlog for tracking
·         Supports Backlog Grooming and Roadmap Planning 
o    Works with Scrum Master to regularly prioritize and "groom" JIRA backlog
o    Collaborates with development, QA and business to deliver JIRA backlog items
o    Drives and supports discovery work on new business capabilities (Google progressive search, Payplan, eSignature).
·         Primary participant in numerous recurring Scrum meetings and processes
o    Attend Daily Standups; respond to questions from Scrum Master Dev or QA
o    Participate in daily stand up meetings
o    Participate in grooming and planning meetings
o    Participate in retrospective meetings
