Bachelor’s Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent.
Min 5 years of related financial services experience.
Analytical skills, communication skills, PC skills, including office applications and project scheduling and flowcharting software, relationship management, facilitation skills.
Trading and FX trading preferred.
As a Business Analyst a lot will rely on you to develop solutions to complex business problems. You will be responsible for providing ongoing support to both the development and the QA team in a rapidly changing environment driven by business requirements and technology advancements. You will be working as part of a cross-functional geographically distributed team of Developers, Product Owners, Technical Owners, Quality Analysts, and other Business Analysts. The role will also involve communication with vendors, managers, the technical staff, colleagues from professional services and the clients themselves..
Analysis of complex data, researching, and translating business needs into technical requirements
Requirements analysis and organization
Identifying and documenting persona based domain specific workflows
Be a subject matter expert on the assigned domain helping translate and simplify business statements
Detail out acceptance criteria for stories & create business work flow documents for features
Impact analysis of the requirements affecting various areas of the application
Document & maintain functional dependency diagrams/documents
Details out the requirements with Business/Product owner and break it into smaller chunks/shippable items
Participate in daily SCRUM calls and answer functional queries
Need to be a seasoned BSA with good communication skills
MUST have done work on reporting, charts etc in the past.
PO won’t be spending any time training the new BSA on basics of reporting
Should be able to reach out to people and get the required information, instead of waiting for PO’s direction all the time
Preference would be for someone who could do well with Reporting tools like Crystal, BI or QlikSense
