Looking for highly skilled senior Business Systems Analysts to work on an API Development Team. 10+ year experience total in IT, with at least 5 years of hands on Development experience, and then transitioned into the Systems Analyst role.

Candidate will be responsible to developing Technical Requirements Spec, and API/Web Service Interface Specs in JSON – Swagger Documents, and supporting the development of them through both an Agile and waterfall development lifecycle

Must have hands on experience in integration projects and REST/SOAP web service API call

Knowledge in securing web services via APIGEE proxy helpful

Healthcare or Healhcare Insurance industry experience preferred

Must be able to interface with client applications/project team to understand their needs, then work with the immediate analyst team and architects to develop an API that meets the client’s needs, document the API in a Technical Requirements document and JSON Swagger interface spec, and then walk the development team through the requirements/specs.

During development, the candidate should be able to converse with the development team for questions/clarification. The candidate should interface with the Software Quality Assurance SQA team to sign off on the test plan and test cases of the API, and then be able to support the new API as it goes through SQA, and UAT testing. Should also be able to support the API in production

Candidate should be a very strong data analyst, with experience in SQL Server and/or Oracle and also NoSQL such as MongoDB. Candidate should be comfortable writing complex queries to understand sources of data

Must have excellent communications skills
